Hydromanil™
An extract from a Central and South American plant called tara, which retains a rich nutritional reserve. It consists of 80% polysaccharides called galactomannans (polysaccharides composed of mannose and galactose). A hydrocolloid or a natural biopolymer, the so-called biopolymer, or tara gum, is obtained from them. It is a three-dimensional colloidal matrix that provides the stratum corneum with an immediate and long-lasting improvement in hydration.
The concentration of 2% used in Hands 2.0 increases the level of hydration by 3.6% after only 30 minutes of application, and by 8% - after 4 hours. Importantly, when used regularly, it causes a permanent increase in hydration. This is the result of the accumulation of transepidermal water without its dissipation.
Hydromanil™ also prevents the flaking of skin cells and improves their compactness, making the skin smooth, elastic, and soft. In addition, this extract slows down the formation of unfavorable bacterial biofilm on the skin.
